I am having a problem with the Catalytic Converter that is near the engine breaking just above the lower flange. I have had two of these failures in six months. I took the car to nissan to check the motor mounts and exhaust system and they could not find any problem with the car, or any reason for this repeat failure. The two catalytic converter replacements were made with after market parts and not official Nissan parts. Thanks for your advice.

your gonna need a flex pipe, just as the exhaust manifold pipe starts to turn to go underneath the car. because the engine torques up and down alot even with new mounts, and if the pipe is not able to flex, then it will continue to crack.
