Car sputters like it is going to stall. Garage said a new fuel pump was needed. Non-nissan part was ordered and placed in car. Car ran great for 1/2 day then we heard a high pitch sounds and car started to sputter. Was told it was a bad part. Second Fuel pump did the same thing in 2 hours.

Garage is stumped and is now ordering Nissan part fuel pump. I am concerned that pumps are OK and something else is causing them to go bad?

I have had quite a few pump failures from a certain manufacturer who shall remain nameless, but is the same as the original part. The pump motor runs, but the pump will not make pressure. Hope you get your problem resolved.
