1999 Nissan Altima Fan only works on high

The fan for the heater and A/C only works on high - what is the problem and how easy is it to fix?

Sounds like the fan speed resistor is out, fairly easy fix. It is located in the air box near the blower fan. Just unplug the old one and plug in the new one

Do you have a picture of that part or where can I find a picture. I just need to see a picture so I know what I am looking for. The only thing I can find that is close is a Motor control Resister or a motor contro switch.

My software doesnt have a pic....sorry. The motor control resisitor is what you are looking for

I'm not sure if the part has an official name but the only way I could find it on auto parts websites was to search for blower motor resistor. Hope that helps.
