1998 Nissan Altima Engine Running Cool

Even after 1/2 hour of slow in town driving, the temperature gauge only shows just slightly above the Cold mark and the heater blows luke warm air. Thermostat brand new, water pump okay, no coolant leaks and coolant level is okay.

No, not at all. Generally once outside temps drop below the teens the fans don't run at all. But they do run a lot when temps are 40 degrees and above. Nevertheless, the car has never overheated or even come close.

Was air relief plug opened when filling after thermostat. If not sure open run till op. temp. add coolat till all air is expelled.
