1998 Nissan Altima 4 cyl 110,00 miles

I want to buy a used 98 Nissan Altima, (110,000 miles), and the owner told me that he just put a new waterpump and timing belt on. How can I know if the
"head is/was cracked"? Please respond because I plan to purchase on Monday.

The only thing he did was replaced the water pump and T/belt If the Head is no good you gonna be experiencing overheating problem Is he ?
