Engine starts and runs normal when cold. Drive 8 miles to work. An hour later while running errands car starts ok but then stalls out at slow speeds or quits completely when stopped at an intersection. Someone suggested a "fuel regulator sensor"? My mechanic replaced the distrubutor which he showed me as bad. That did not fix my problem.

Has the check engine light come on? Has fuel pressure been tested? Vacuum leaks? EGR valve?

Honestly, it sounds like a mass air flow sensor, but I can't be sure without a check engine light.

Let me know about the questions I asked and we'll go from there.
