1997 Nissan Altima 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

The heat will only blow out the drivers side. Nothing comes out of the passenger side and there is a rattling sound coming from the windshield vent when the fan is on. My first though was the blower motor but I'm no mechanic, so any ideas? Thanks

If you still have air coming from any of the vents your blower motor is okay. What you are descibing sounds like failed blend doors in the heater case. These can sometimes be repaired but often times require replacement of the heater case.
