i have a 4 cylinder and one of the cylinders is just about shot. the compression reading is about 50, rather than it being at 160. besides tearing down the engine what can i do to possibly boost the compression a little and make it run a little beyyer. i understand restore engine treatment might work

if it has a little bit of comp, he needs to see where it is going. Try putting oil in the cylinder to see if it comes up, if so it is a ring issue. Otherwise needs to do a leak-down test, Probably a bad valve. Not much you can do with hydraulic valves that go bad
