Engine Performance problem
1995 Nissan Altima 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 165K miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
my friend has a 95 altima and hit a pothole earlier today and the entire car shut off, the engine cranks but doesnt turn all the way over, she really needs it this weekend, is it the fuel pump? does she have like a fuel pump reset like most cars do?

Hi izarado,

If the engine does not crank, it should not be anything to do with the fuel pump.

Check to see if the accident had caused anything to get stuck.

Check for loose battery terminals.

It is not going to be easy for us to help you.
