It appears that when running the air conditioning, there is a lot of fluid leaking from under the dash on the passenger side. There is a lot of liquid, enough to form a puddle. I believe it is just condensation that is leaking internally but how can I be sure and how can I stop the internal leak?

There is a drain tube for the evaporator that sticks out the fire wall behind the A/C unit, check that this is not blocked or missing.
