Recently I discovered that my passenger side brake light was out. I promptly replaced it but the new light is extremely dim. The only repair recently made to the car is a replacement of the main fuse. Could this have caused my tail light to go out and subsequently be dim once replaced? If not, what could be the problem? Thanks.

No! Check the condition of the socket and ground wire to that side!
