Electrical problem
1993 Nissan Altima 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i have checked spark plugs doing a spark plug test/ i have pulled the distributor and checked to see that thr ignition rotor is runnning. i checked voltage on resistors and voltage to the battery. i checked mass air flow sensor. i am still not getting a spark to the ignition coil. replaced ignition coil and ignition rotor. fuel pump is working properly but still engine wont turn over. im sure crankshaft sensor is working fine being there is compression to the engine. car is trying to turn over. any input would be helpful...

Hi italynlvr27, Did you check for power to the ignition coil? Ignition Coil Power Source 1 . Disconnect ignition coil 2 -pin connector. Turn ignition on. Check for voltage at green wire terminal. 2 . If voltage is present, go to POWER TRANSISTOR. If voltage is not present, check continuity of entire circuit between battery and ignition coil, including fuse link and ignition switch. POWER TRANSISTOR TESTING 1 . Disconnect power transistor connector.

At power transistor connector, check continuity between the following terminals, noting ohmmeter test lead polarity: "¢ "a" (+) and "b" (-). "¢ " a" (+) and "c" (-). 2 . If there is continuity, replace power transistor. If there is no continuity, reverse ohmmeter test lead polarity and check continuity across terminals listed in previous step. If there is no continuity, replace power transistor. If there is continuity, power transistor is okay.
