1993 Nissan Altima brakes wont work but the signals will

I change my head and tail lights to a chrome lights. at first it was ok, they worked fine but the next day the brakes wasnt coming on but the signals did can you tell me why?

Check the ground circuit to it and the brake switch for power on one side.
