2006 Nissan 350Z Engine Knock

The engine knocks when the car is parked, but doesnt when the car is driving through all gears, there seems to be a knock coming from the top end of the engine. Any ideas, the car was just bought at a dealership two days ago. It isn't do for an oil change but I dont know how long it sat there. Any advice?

Weak oil pump can be a contributing factor-Sounds more like lifters or a worn camshaft lobes try checking the valve lifter clearance out of spec select correct size lifter thickness
