A friend has a 1993 Nissan 300zx with auto transmission. Car has 73000 miles
on it. When the car shifts from first to second and from second to
third you have to lift off the gas a little in order for it to shift.
Transmission is full. He was told it was the computer for the trans
that was possibly bad. Any ideas on this problem?

Thank You,

Darryl

Could very well be... Did a shop pull codes from the PCM to determine this? If there is a TV (throttle valve) cable hooked to the throttle, be sure it is in working order and hooked up or the trans will never work right

Thank You for the reply....I'll have to wait until he's able to get to the shop. But as soon as I find out, I'll try and post the findings.

Again, Thank You,

Darryl
