I was driving and noticed my temperature hit hot I checked my overflow container and it was ok I let it cool down and then opened up my radiator cap and it was dry. I filled it up and I think I noticed some circulation in the radiator, I was able to make it home, the next morning I checked the radiator again and again it was dry, where is the coolant going? Do I have to change the water pump or thermostat? Please Help.

first check the lower radiator hose to make sure its not leaking the coolant, and that the clamps are tight on the hoses, then if that passes check your overflow tank for cracks, if all else fails it could be your water pump
