1987 Nissan 300ZX Brake lights stay on all the time

I just bought a 1987 Nissan 300zx Turbo and i checked and replaced all bad fuses, when i got to the brake lights and replaced it the brake lights stayed on, i pulled up on the brake pedal and they still did not go off. Please help me on how to fix this.

check the brake light switch under the dash on the pedal assembly, sometimes they get backed out of adjustment and wont turn off.
