1985 Nissan 300ZX dash panel does not power up

the car will start if i rev up the engine sometimes
the dash panel will light up and function properly
I have checked all fuses and the fusible link box
with a check light
do you have any sugestions?

Check the ignition switch. Symptoms indicates an intermittent power supply failure and the ignition switch is the most likely cause.
