1992 Nissan 240SX possible fuel pump?

Computer problem
1992 Nissan 240SX Two Wheel Drive Manual 150000 miles

I am having a problem with my car cranking. The motor turns over and over, but engine does not fire. We have had problems with it stalling or not craning.. but wait 5 minutes and it starts up again. The car has many ghosts from electrical to mechanical. The car was running fine until we had to change out a radiator hose. Does the computer chip have anything to do with the fuel pump? Could the computer chip be the problem? I know someone that had the same problems and it turned out to be the computer chip.

when the computer is bad it will not start at all or may have a random start and no start issue.

since it wont start now is a great time to check what system is failing, ignition or fuel... check for spark and fuel pressure and let me know.
