my 92 240sx is fine right when i crank it up but after i run it for a couple of minutes it starts to miss and bog down but if i shut it off then it runs fine and then starts again

It could be your O2 sensor. Also when you turn off your car its like you temperarly reset the computer until it starts again and can run the programs.
