One of the fan belts broke on my 89 Nissan 240sx; I believe it's the one for the ac compressor. The car still runs. Would it be safe to drive the car without this belt? Does this belt drives anything else other then the AC? Would the water pump or any other componects be affected? thanks.

Take a look and see what the belt runs, my software doesnt have that info. Usually the a/c belt is alone unless it is a serpentine, which yours isnt. Should have another belt running the water pump and alt or power steering
