We drove twenty four hours from North Dakota to Texas, drove around Texas for about three weeks, finally one day we stopped, cut the truck off, went to start it back up, and all we got was click, click, click, click. Purchased a new starter, alternator, and battery, and it still would not start. Changed the negative battery terminal because of corrosion. It would began to crank, but it wouldn't turn over. Got the codes for camshaft sensor 1 and 2, so we changed those, and now we are back at the click, click, click.

Check all battery connections on all ends not just at the battery, positive and negative. You can use digital multi-meter across battery posts, everything off, the generic spec for a full charge is 12.6 volts. If battery is down, get it charged up. Check your charging system, the battery terminal at the generator is hot all the time, even with the key off. Check for voltage, if no voltage, something wrong with wiring circuit or possible fuse. Any applicable trouble codes?

Cranking is starter motor action. Are you saying, it cranks good but won't start? I don't believe the clicking has anything to do with security system. If it cranks good but won't start, it could be your security system.

We hooked it up to the reader and these codes came back, these are the codes from the scanner:
P216D
P2092
P2090
P2155
We went through the process to reset the security that we saw online but it's still not cranking, so we plugged in the scanner and received the codes above.

It sounds like the engine may have had a problem lets see if it can be turned over by hand use a long breaker bar with a socket on it to turn the front dampener bolt, the engine should turn with medium resistance. Please let me know
