One day after getting my front ball joints replaced my drivers side brake caliper froze up. I drove right to dealer and they said it had nothing to do with their work and charged me to fix it with new part. Now both rotors are shot because of it. What do you think?

Welcome to 2CarPros.

Honestly, unless they damaged the rubber brake line to the caliper, the ball joint isn't part of that system. They would have removed the caliper for the original repair. Did the problem happen immediately after the original work was done?

As far as the rotors, if only one caliper locked up, it wouldn't have hurt both, but could have caused the affected one to warp. Is that what happened?

Let me know.

Joe
