beeping in dash when stopping and transmission goes into neutral

Fiat Pop automatic and manual gear box, when stopping at lights or roundabouts and reversing, dashboard beeps and gear jumps into neutral, daw jars tells me to press brake. what could it mean? Carol

You should call or take it into a Fiat dealer there are new controller updates that have came out for that vehicle that have been fixing issues for drivability and transmission enhancements.
