So when I start up my car it starts up only a second or two slower than normal cars, however when I go to lift off and start driving it goes into a high RPM before shifting back down to the RPM it is meant to be in. It does the same also when coming to a stop at a stop light and starting up again when light is green. Also, whenever I go to touch my brake pedal even the slightest, it sounds like there is kind of like a boiling type sound not a screeching sound though, coming from the front of my car. Leading to the pedal and steering wheel to kind of feel as though there is shakiness in them happening at the same time as well. I am assuming the brakes need to be replaced at least the front, however would like an input from an auto tech themselves before doing so being I will have the work done by brother not a shop. Anything you can think of being the causes to what I have explained?

Hello,

It sounds like you have two problems first the idle. These cars stick the IAC valve due to coking. Here are two guides that can help us get the problem fixed:

and

The next problem sounds like brake but you will need to make a new post for so we keep the subject matter clean.

Check out the diagrams (below). Please run this test and get back to us.
