The trailing arms on this car are quite rusty and are being replaced. To properly install the new parts I need the torque specs for the trailing arm to knuckle bolts and the trailing arm to body bolts. Thank you.

Hi,

If you look below, I attached the torque specifications for the rear suspension. The list includes the trailing arms.

Taake a look through it and let me know if it helps.

Take care,

Joe

Thank you for this information. I see the trailing arm to knuckle spec, but not the torque spec for the bolts that attach the trailing to the underbody. These are #38 on the FLO (fastener location overview) diagram referenced in the list you posted. Might they be the same torque as the #41 trailing arm to knuckle bolts?

Also, are there any special precautions for stabilizing/immobilizing the rear suspension when the trailing arms are removed?

Hi,

For some reason, they don't have that listed. What size is the bolt? Does it look like it can handle 150 ft/lbs? Considering what it's holding, I would think it would be the same torque.

Let me know.
