Replacing gasket for the oil pan as I counted 14 bolts and removed 12 out of 14 the last two are on the driver side. (For example, if I'm sitting in the driver's seat and facing North). The two are on the West side of the oil pan but only difference is the two bolts in the other direction and I can get a 10mm socket but it's not backing or I should say the nut isn't backing off the bolt it keeps bumping yet it's turning but coming off just keeps turning and light click noise. From what I can see is the portion next to those two bolts if its gasket or thin metal preventing it to come off.

They are stripped out. Someone overtightened them when putting them in. So the threads in the block are just spinning. I would try to pry down on the pan a little bit while spinning the bolt and that should put enough tension on the threads that it comes out. Once you get them out, you are going to have to retap the threads.

Here is a video on how to do that:

If this does not work, can you get a video of what is happening and that will help us get on the same page? Thanks

The two remaining are nuts instead of bolts and the image I provided you can see the groove where you can pry off a centimeter of a plastic shield that also in the way of the nuts from coming down. Don't know what other components that shield is connected to didn't want to start disassemble everything that's associated to it and find its more to get that off.

Here's a video. I tried getting a closer shot of the plastic shield and how it blocks the two nuts from coming down.

Okay. It is hard to explain this in writing and it would be easier to show you. However, when you put the socket straight on the nut, push it to the side so that it turns the bolt at an angle in the hole and this will put the tension that you need so that you can loosen the nut.

I hope this makes sense. Take a look at the attachments. I tried to draw what I mean on the nut so that it may make more sense.

If I just refill the transmission fluid at the dipstick. Any other spots to drain? Tightening order? For a GA16DE GXE Sentra Automatic 1.6 liter 1998.
