need to replace fuel pump which fuel pump strainer do i use, inlet size .3125 or.375 and where does it go?

replacing fuel pump on 1984 dodge / plymouth turbo colt import and i need to know which fuel pump strainer to use one with inlet size of .3125 or one with inlet size .375 and where does the strainer go?

I would recommend that you remove the strainer (which I believe is in the fuel tank) and take it with you to compare it to the ones available. Your car could have either one in it.
