Need to repair and replace (AU) bmw x1 2016 f48 front left passenger side wheel assembly?

The first thing you need to do is strip that apart and see what pieces are actually damaged. It may have shifted the front subframe as well, especially as the fender is also shifted back. If that is damaged the suspension components will be the easy parts as BMW wants the subframe replaced because of the steel used in it. Also can you get a closer picture inside the engine bay looking down at the suspension? Being RHD the info we have should work as the only item that really changes on modern vehicles is the steering rack and interior pieces.

OOF that took a hit. Looks like you need pretty much everything on that corner. Axle, strut, lower A arm, steering knuckle, sway bar (looks bent), outer tie rod, brake hose, caliper. I would also examine the transaxle housing, while it pulled the axle out it would have damaged the seal and may have got the case bushing as well. Plus the rim and tire. Then the body pieces and paint. What I would do if it were mine is start stripping off the panels and the damaged parts. The big thing is to see if the subframe has any damage. If you have a good body shop nearby it might be a good idea to put it on the table to measure the pieces just to see any issues. You don't want to get it together just to discover that it cannot be aligned because it is bent.
Now as to the parts, most are simple bolt on items. I would not opt for aftermarket parts though, especially with the strut and steering knuckle. While there are good ones out there it is getting very hard to say Brand X will be just fine. The data I have is for the US version so the steering rack is reversed but the rest of the parts should be the same. The pieces circled are what looks to be ones you can keep, pretty much all the rest has to be replaced. Looking at the parts catalog I can find through BMW, there are pieces that you will likely need that are no longer available through BMW. So aftermarket or used may be your only option. I would look at getting the correct service information through BMW, they have an online system that you pay for access and then you can get the part numbers and real time parts availability for the right hand drive models.

You are welcome. I'll continue to look for RHD service info but the US side of the support and what we have access to is the LHD only and there are some different part numbers. You will also need the build date of your car, that should be on the door sticker.

Heres some updated pics with the bumper and light debris removed to better see the overall damage ...

U can see the wheel bay back of it has been bent and is cracked and that tge emgine bay and structure seems to be unimpacted....


Hopefully this helps to assist in what what actually needed fmto repair and how bad it actually is ?

It needs to be put on a frame machine and measured. That crack and the bent metal around it indicate that the firewall may have been driven back, but without measuring it you cannot really tell. A good collision shop could get it straightened out. Then you could bolt on the new parts and see what the alignment looks like. Cannot tell if the impact did any damage to the subframe, but an impact that broke parts like that likely transferred force into the subframe. Again, measuring it would show that.

If I can add, if the main frame is bent it will take a lot to get this car fixed.

Seems the only part thats bent is in the back of the wheel bay

Okay, you will need to remove the damaged parts for inspection and replace the bent and broken items.
