Hello my name is Dave.

First I wanted to confirm that it is a carburated engine, according to our data base a 91 model should be fuel injected. If it has a carburetor it has been modified from the factory fuel injection, even the Super Duty versions had fuel injection that year. If you could confirm which one it has then we will be happy to help you trouble shoot your issue however we would need that information first. If it has been converted from fuel injection to carburetor then it would have to have an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator to reduce the pressure. We look forward to hearing back from you and thank you for using 2CarPros!
