I need to get this car into neutral so it can be towed. I do not have the keys. The doors are open but I do not have keys. I do not see an obvious manual way to do this. How can I get it into neutral?

Good morning.

You need to go under the hood to the top of the transmission.

The cable from the shifter connects at the manual valve. You need to remove the cable and then you can manually shift the car into neutral.

I cannot see this section under a very cramped hood. Can you give me either a photo showing this section or at least a couple of “landmarks” which will help me locate it?

Most likely you will need to remove the air filter assembly from the car. It is under that area.

Do not have a break down of the area. Remove the air filter housing for access to the top of the transmission.
