I have the car listed above zx2 cool coupe and I'm trying to install a avital 5105l remote start keyless entry security system into my car. My problem is I don't know where to connect the wires for the remote start part of the alarm on to my cars wiring it's a 10 pin heavy gauge connector. Please if anybody can tell me what wires I have to connect them to on my car would be a big help. Thank you. The picture are the ten wires I need to connect to my cars wires.

First the pictures that you attached were not there.

Next we need to get the manufacture information of the kit that you installed. This will help us track down some information on how to install it. Next did they come with installations instructions or a wiring diagram?

These kits do not always use the same set up so it is going to be different on different vehicles but they should at least tell us what systems we need to hook into.

Then we can find these specific circuits for your vehicle. Please let us know what questions you have on this and we can go from there. Thanks

It is an avital avital model 5105 l. Is the alarm for remote start that I'm trying to install? Sorry that the pictures didn't come up and no I do not have the installation instructions and so if you can tell me what wires from the alarm I have to connect to the wires on my car that would be awesome. Very helpful thank you so much.

Take a look at these attachments. I was able to Google this and looks like these are what you need.

Basically you just need to look in the first column for the wire color of the kit and then see the second column for what to hook it too. So when it says 12V DC Constant Input. This would be a B+ Feed for the PCM.

That would be on the 5th wiring diagram where it says Power B+ and is the blue/red wire.

Just work through this and let us know if you have questions on this.

Hope this helps. Thanks

Is there any way that you can make a diagram of the alarm wires and what they connect to? Because the diagrams that I'm looking at are confusing to me. If that's possible that would be awesome and I'd appreciate it thank you and have a good 4th of July.

I am not sure I understand what you are looking for. I cannot make any diagrams but can pull them for you but it looks like the wiring diagrams that I provided earlier contain what the instructions are calling for.

Did you buy this kit new or did you get it second hand which is why it didn't come with instructions?

I would suggest visiting their site and reach out to their tech support if you are not able to get this operating.

https://www.avital.com/Support/OwnersGuide.aspx

Unfortunately we just don't have the resources that you may need to for specific products as we are not affiliated with them.

Please let me know if there is another way that I can assist. Thanks

You have helped me out a lot with the diagrams for the car I just don't know how to read them correctly. So what I was asking was if you could take a piece of paper and list the alarm wires and what color wires those go to on my car that would be cool. If not I'd appreciate it and understand. I want to thank you again and let you know I hope you have a happy 4th of July.

Just sorting through this for your vehicle and we have an issue. Did you buy this kit where it said it would work on your specific vehicle?

I suspect you just bought the kit because it says it should work for any vehicle. If that is the case, you are going to have to call them and ask for this info as they are going to have to tell you what is needed for your starting system.

Take a look at the attached, you do not have a relay in the starter circuit which this system is requiring. There may be a work around for this but the instructions don't call it out so they are going to have to let you know which wires these specific ones go to.

Okay, because I have a relay that I bought it's a 5 pin relay. And also I will call them tomorrow but if you can keep marking on the paper that's cool because it's helping a lot.

Sounds great. I attached their hotline number below that may work better.

However, when you say you bought a relay, that is a bit of an issue because your vehicle doesn't have an existing one in the system which is what you need. The problem is, the relay is just the place to tab into the wiring but the wiring is what you need. Basically the control wire from the PCM and power wires from fuses. Then there is the power wire from the relay that turns the starter on.

Again, your vehicle doesn't have these circuits so we need Avital to tell us what circuits will work in their place.

Unfortunately this is not something that we do. We are here to assist you with what you need but if it gets to the point of needing onsite help, you are going to have seek a shop in your area to help install this. If the person that is actually installing this needs help then that is the person that would need to call.

So if they are not willing to walk you through installing this then unfortunately you are going to have find someone in your area that will be willing to do it. Thanks

They told I called a alarm shop and they told me that I would have to get a module that I'd have to stick my spare key into to in order for the remote start to work. So I'm going to get that soon so I might need your help with that.
