Need help to setup wiring harness for a swap

The 2001 Ford Explorer wiring harness doesn't have that wire and the C110 plug for the motor wiring harness.
Don’t have that wire. So does have this instead.

1017 (BK/WH)
"Generator/Battery indicator, control"

42 36 (YE/WH)

And I have C102a or b plug to the Generator

I hope you all can understands what I am trying to tell you. So there is my problem am having what should I do for the ‘1017 (BK/WH) wire’ for the ‘Check cap indicator lamp’? Like I said the 2001 Ford Explorer wiring harness doesn’t have check cap indicator lamp wire in it at all...

Sorry but it is not clear what your issue is. You have a check gas cap light on and you are trying to use a wiring harness that does not have that circuit in it?

If you can clarify this for us, I am sure we will be able to figure something out. However, just because a circuit is not in a connector doesn't mean you can't make it. Basically you just need to run a new wire from end to end and then secure it to the harness.
