There is a bulletin about making sure you are registering the correct key. See the image below. We do not have any other information on programming the pins. Here is what the bulletin says that may help you:

SERVICE INFORMATION
The Intelligent Keys used on the various Infiniti vehicles may not be interchangeable between models and years.
Although the Intelligent Keys may look the same on the outside (physical appearance) they may have different manufacturers and/or different electronic architecture on the inside.
DO NOT attempt to register an Intelligent Key from one vehicle to another vehicle.

If the wrong type of Intelligent Key is being used, registration will not complete.
Make sure to confirm (using the VIN and FAST) that the Intelligent Key(s) being used are correct for the vehicle being worked on.
