My car goes into gear but will not drive. code p1810 pops up.

this is a circuit malfunction in transmission fluid pressure switch . a transmission guy has to look at this because it may not be electrical if the harness is shorted the whole harness has to be replaced and cannot be repaired. it may also be the transmission range selector switch which you know as neutral switch on transmission.
