When ignition is turned on a clicking noise is heard from behind the glove box for a few seconds. I have been told it is the fan. It is attached to the cabin filter box. Can you help please.

remove cabin filter and check for something hitting fan

Have checked for that and nothing appears to be hitting fan. Someone has suggested that it may be a sticky relay within the fan unit.

it may be the blower fan relay which is on the lh side of dash but is probably traveling across. or it cold be one of the actuators like mode or air intake actuator making the noise
