My stock navigation screen and radio only come on once every six months?

My stock radio navigation screen only come on once every six months or so.when screen appears I’m able to program one station before screen goes out again.stays that way until battery gets disconnected for a repair or replacement.when it is out it’s only static. I can power on and off volume button but won’t change station and screen won’t come on.any insight is greatly appreciated.

Yep, it is common for these screens to go out, they cant take the heat of summer. You will need another unit. The unit is after market correct?

No, this is original Radio, I have bought three of the exact same ones and they all do the same thing. And the three new/ used ones were tested and working in other vehicles! So that’s why I’m stumped!!

Gotcha, okay this means the constant power, or the ground circuit is bad or intermittent so we need to check these connections. Here is the wiring diagrams and a guide to help us check them.

I put reg arrows on the wires to test. The black is ground and red/org is power.
