Two weeks ago, I purchased the car listed above. One of the reasons I chose this car was because it drove so smoothly, I felt like I was gliding. Large bumps like train tracks were a breeze and I didn’t feel any small bumps. The ride felt very gentle, unlike anything else I’ve driven.
Earlier this week I was leaving a parking lot which slopes down to the road. My front driver's side tire hit the road first, at an angle, with a pretty big bump. I no longer feel the smoothness I loved so much. I feel every single bump on the road, no matter how small, and it’s like I feel it in my seat, right underneath me. I’m wondering if whatever was absorbing those bumps before is no longer working. Have I ruined my suspension or shocks? I checked my tire pressure yesterday. All were at 40.
Any suggestions and answers are welcome! I appreciate any help I can get. I called my Mazda dealership, but I don’t feel like they’re taking me seriously.
