She was cranking after sitting up for a while, then it rained while the engine hood was up, and now there's no buzzer, no lights, nothing.

Are you sure the battery isn't dead? Have you checked or tried recharging it? There may have been a constant draw on the battery causing it to discharge. Since there is nothing electrical working, we have to start at the beginning, and that is the battery.
