My key will not open drivers door, but will open passenger side. then alarm goes off. Whats wrong?

My key will not unlock drivers door

Welcome to 2CarPros.
When you try to open the driver's door, does the key turn or is it frozen like you have the wrong key? Have you tried lubricating the lock cylinder?
Either the linkage has come apart in the door or the lock cylinder is bad. I attached directions for replacing the lock cylinder. The pics below include an exploded view of the part and the directions.
Let me know exactly what is happening when you try to unlock the door.
