My gas gauge is not reading. If it's full, half full, empty or anything it's staying directly on E empty.

This could be the fuel pump sending unit or the wiring or the gauge in the cluster itself. However, the far most common cause is the unit in the tank. I included the procedure but I would simply check the resistance that is shown and this will confirm the unit in the tank is the issue.
