Hi HFAWCETT,
First thing you need to check is base engine operation. This means check for spark, fuel, and compression. However, before you do that, I have a hunch that this is a warped head due to the left side having misfires on all cylinders.
Just do a compression test on all 6 cylinders so you can get an idea what you are dealing with. If you have low compression on the left side then this pretty much confirms you will need a head. I also attached the head gasket failure diag if you would like to perform that first.
Also, I attached the cylinder leakage test. I would suggest you do this one after the compression and head gasket test. Once you confirm the compression is low, then the leakage test just tells you where it is coming from. However, due to it being all 3 on that bank, it is pretty unlikely that the rings on each piston are leaking, or the intake/exhaust valve on all three are leaking as well. This pretty much leaves the head gasket. The only
Hopefully it is just a head gasket and not a warped head but once you get it off, you will need to put a straight edge on it to check before you invest in a head.
Let me know what you find and I can assist further if this proves to not be the case.
Thanks
Kenny.
