I keep blowing 20A fuses when I try to start my car. The fuse is a fuel pump ignition fuse. The code P0340 says it is a Camshaft Sensor, but I cannot find a diagram online to show where it is located at.

Hello thanks for using 2CarPros, here is a diagram to help find the camshaft sensor. As for the fuel pump fuse popping, does it happen right at start up, or will the truck run for awhile then blow the fuse?

Here is a diagram of the fuel pump and fuel pump relay circuits. The pump may be faulty or a wire is exposed and touching the frame some where.

Hello, I'm Danny,

Here is a basic tutorial showing what is involved for replacing a camshaft position sensor:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/camshaft-angle-sensor-replacement

I've attached step-by-step picture instructions below including the sensor location. I've attached the instructions in case you want to test the circuit before just replacing the sensor.Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
