There are actually two coolant temperature sensors on this vehicle. They are know to have trouble with the cylinder head temperature sensor. The other coolant sensor is for the car's computer.
You said a sensor was replaced, if it was not the cylinder head temperature sensor, that is my first suspect. Here are the directions for replacing it. All attached pictures correlate with these directions.

Removal

2. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe and the turbocharger inlet pipe.

4. Torque: 10 Nm
Installation
1.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Install a new CHT (cylinder head temperature) sensor.
