I'm trying to change the spark plugs. I tested my alternator and it's bad, tried to replace it. Haven't tried yet because my ignition locked up I can't turn it to off with the key. Now I can't put the battery in. First is.... How do I get my key to turn to off? The steering wheel will not turn. The car won't shift to neutral even its like my brakes are stuck too. Second is.... If the ground to the alternator was seized into the old one, can that been my problem? Or spark plugs? Or the wires? I replaced my coil pack with icm twice. I replaced the crankshaft sensor behind the harmonic balancer. I replaced my bad battery. Now replaced a bad alternator..... What can I do? Please help!

you may have a bad ignition switch causing you to not be able to remove the key as well as the diode is bad in key so if you get it out try another one. a pro may need to see if adjustment is correct on park/lock cable
