I have the vehicle listed above Grand Picasso and the boot won’t open. there is no sound when you try to open it, it has been in the garage to have a look at it and they have said it’s a problem with the boot sensor. my question is, when I try to Google the part or where it is situated in the car, I can’t find it anywhere, only coming up with a boot micro switch, that would stop the boot opening. are they they same thing or is it something different?

Unfortunately we don't have a manual on this vehicle however, in general the sensor is part of the switch. Basically it is a sensor that is in the switch that determines the position of the switch. So while I can't confirm this on this part due to not having a manual but I suspect it is included in the part.

Hopefully this helps. Thanks
