Hello, it sounds like either the ABS module or the "totally integrated power module" (TIPM) might be failing. The ABS module and the Instrument Cluster module (where you are seeing the warning lights flash) are on two different communication networks in the vehicle and the only way they can communicate is through the TIPM, it is the gateway between the two different networks. And it sounds like one of the modules is sending out corrupt data messages on the network.
Are you having any drivability issues with the vehicle yet?
Here is a diagram of the communications network in the vehicle, you'll notice the ABS module is on CANbus C and the Instrument Cluster is on CANbus B, the TIPM is at the top which is where the two networks transmit messages between each other, also known as the "gateway module" for this reason.
So, the ABS module could be sending out corrupt messages or the TIPM might be, and I think what you are seeing on the Cluster is a result of that.
You can have a shop do a full scan of the entire vehicle and see what modules may have codes stored in them, this is not something an auto parts store can do, they usually only have a scan tool that can scan the engine computer (PCM) alone, not the entire network.
Looking at the ABS modules wiring diagram, the brake switch is actually on a completely different network as well, it is on a Linbus network that communicates directly with the Instrument Cluster, so it's possible the instrument cluster may be at fault as well. It only takes one bad module to cause a lot of problems.
Modern vehicles have many computer modules in them controlling and monitoring everything, so a full system scan can help determine where to start looking for an issue. Sometimes a failed module will not even show up on a full system scan and right away that points to a problem.
