This is the Cabriolet model. I jumped the terminal on the multi-function switch to test the wiring, and the parking lights illuminated. I purchased a new multi function switch and it still does not work. Help please.

By doing what you did you may have fried the body module for parking lights. They do not even go through multi function switch. Check fuses if you are lucky you blew a fuse. Scan for codes.

Okay, the parking lights are not operated by the multi-function switch? I am a little confused as it is position one on the lighting switch. Position one allows power to flow through the black/yellow wire on the harness that connects to the multi-function switch. I checked fuses, specifically the 20 amp fuse that is labeled parking lamp number 7. Is there a way to test the BCM? I have a diagnostic scan tool(Autel Maxisys MS906BT) and I am not getting any codes related to the BCM. Thank you for the quick response.

The headlights go through multi function for low/high not parking lights the parking lights use a black/yellow wire from headlight switch to body module and is grounded at left kick panel. If your scanner will read all modules then it may read a body module. You should check fuses 8-11-16-20 in PDC under hood, those all go to body module and any could be bad. Use a test light.
