Had old fuel in it, didn’t drain it, but put some new gas in it. Starts up just fine now with a new battery and everything. However, when you’re driving, if you don’t keep your foot on the gas it shuts off in the middle of the road.
That happened and now when you turn it on, it idles fine but you can barely crank the wheel and putting it in drive and pressing your foot all the way down doesn’t do anything. It just starts rolling backwards.

Good morning,

This all goes back to the old fuel. You cannot add new fuel and expect the old fuel to work with the new.

You need to start by draining the tank completely and adding new fuel. Replace the filter as well.

I would also check the fuel pressure to be sure the old fuel has not damaged the fuel pump.
