Multiple codes possibly Vacuum/fuel related?

I finally got the replacement engine in. This engine has 82k, came with all the sensors included with the engine, including turbo. I of course put back the original ECM which bolts to the intake, otherwise the car would not start. it started fine with no issues, ran it few days while still on the left, and of course I have to re-check everything to make sure no hoses, harness, or connections were damaged or were unplugged. I started it yesterday and took several times to start. The air filter box which connects on the top and which connects to where the MAF sensor was off, so I thought maybe the air was not measured correctly, but it started. I have several codes which I am sure are correlated. There is a very tiny misfire, or I should say what feels like a minor vac leak which causes a minor hiccup while it's running and parked. Checked codes and this is what I have. First few show all the codes. After I deleted them and started it I got less codes which can be seen in the pictures where I have my finger in it. One of the codes may be blurry to you in one of those pictures but it's 160504. The last picture shows the codes after I deleted them again and restarted.

Another update: found an unplugged connector which belongs to the fuel pump, but the pumps had different connector head on the other motor compared to the new one, so I just replaced the pump and plugged the right one in it. I have one left connector which was plugged into the pump before and was causing all the codes, I am trying to find out where it goes to. It comes out of the harness and shares a split that goes to the compressor as I indicated in the video. If you can help me find out where it goes to, I would appreciate it.

Don't worry about the copies for now as I have found the connector like I mentioned in post 2. Please see video in post 2 and let me know if it's possible to help.

So the connector looks like it is to the high-pressure fuel pump which the year must be off because they are different. So, do you have the wire that goes to the HPFP? If not, that must be the connector but a different version of the connector.

yes, I found another one that was not connected and that looked like the fuel pressure pumps am used to, bigger, so I looked at the pumps and they were different, so I replaced the pump and put back the one that was original and plugged the right connector to it. Now I have this one that was in the new style pump, which is small as you see in the picture, is it possible they left 2 wires in case one was replaced? How did the car start before? car started with few codes but it ran good, or will the pump still run but be all over the place?

Someone told me this wire connects to nothing so i left it alone and put everything back, only code i keep getting back is p1235 secondary upstream manifold air pressure circuit intermittent.

It sounds like there is a bad connection at the pressure sensor at the secondary air system. Here is the sensor so you can check it out, make sure it is mounted correctly as well. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

For some reason searching the code online it also says has to do with the fuel pressure or pump or something. But the scanner reads p1235 secondary manifold air pressure sensor circuit intermittent. If i delete the code it starts normally. Once i shut it off and start again i can tell that the code is back because it takes a second longer to start. Meaning it turns over more a second longer when it sets the code.

Also there are 2 MAP sensors, one on the charge pipe and one on top of the intake. Both have the same exact connector. So, i thought i switched them. So even if i try and switch the wires i still get the code. Are these the ones you talking about? It may be that one is bad if it is. I have the other motor and i think one of them maybe came with it. I'll look.

Yep, that is BMW and sometimes the codes do not have anything to do with what is wrong. I remember having a camshaft position code and it turned out to be an intake boot that was leaking so it might be the high-pressure pump.

Fixed the PCV vent code with a new PCV heat hose. Still getting p1235 for manifold pressure. Cleaned both MAP sensors now took a while to get the code back. Did a smoke test and found a very minor leak from the breather hose on top of the charge pipe even though it's tight. Ordered another. After cleaning the MAP sensors, the code wasn't even in the pending codes like before. But then came back after i started the car again. Driving me crazy. I also cleaned the MAF sensor. I will see how it goes after the new breather hose replacement.

I have seen the intake running controls get gummed up and not open or close completely which can cause these codes. Here is what I am talking about. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Never seen that on a BMW before but engine has 82k and intake and valves were super clean when i installed it.

I have seen a clogged exhaust system cause this issue, please go over this guide it can help, or you may need to inspect the cats physically.
